Dental Biomaterials Laboratory (BioMaD)

The Dental Biomaterials Laboratory (BioMaD) is part of the Centro de Investigación e Innovación Biomédica (CiiB) at Universidad de los Andes, Chile. The group focuses on the development and evaluation of dental biomaterials and emerging technologies in dentistry.
Our research activities include:

• Alternative antimicrobial therapies and photodynamic therapy
• Adhesion to dental tissues and restorative interfaces
• Polymerization and light-curing technologies
• CAD/CAM and 3D-printed dental materials
